Our mission is to support the Land Grant Mandate of providing teaching, research, extension, and professional service to support the animal industries of Utah, the surrounding region, and the International community. Primary responsibility for graduate program assessment is delegated to the Animal, Dairy and Veterinary Sciences (ADVS) Departmental Graduate Programs Committee (GPC). The GPC consists of six faculty members that are appointed by the Department Head. The GPC members have significant research assignments and actively mentor graduate students on a regular basis. Membership is drawn from across the majors and specializations in the ADVS graduate program.
