ANIMAL SCIENCE

J. GRANT BROADBENT AWARD - An award for students of sophomore, junior, or senior standing on the basis of their potential for making a significant contribution to the range livestock segment of agriculture.  They must demonstrate leadership and scholarship.

MILTON A. MADSEN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND - Awards given to an undergraduate student majoring in Animal Science on the basis of scholarship, need and dedication to the livestock industry.  This fund was established by family, friends, and colleagues as a memorial to Dr. Madsen’s contributions to the livestock industry and USU.

ALLEN N. & HELEN ADAMS SCHOLARSHIP - Three scholarships awarded to students who demonstrate academic achievement, financial need, and personal integrity.  Preference will be given to upper division undergraduate students.  One scholarship will be awarded in the area of animal physiology and breeding, one in animal management and extension, and one in animal nutrition.
