- Milk Quality Elective, Vet Med 704 for veterinary students, 1992, 1994, 1995-2004. (Formerly taught only even-numbered years; beginning 1995 by demand from students taught annually). Dairy herd health, emphasizing analysis of farm practices for prevention of mastitis. Other aspects of dairy farm management also addressed. Farm and laboratory testing and diagnostic results used for generation of recommendations for control of mastitis. Practical epidemiology and records analysis for improved udder health. Lectures, discussion, laboratory, farm visits, and student case reports.
- Medical and Surgical Problems of Dairy Cattle, Vet Med 665, 1997-2000. Introduction to bovine mastitis. Included laboratory on cowside diagnostic techniques.
- Certified Milk Inspector schools in New York State, 1990, 1992-93, 1995-00, 2003-04.
- Mastitis Control Programs, Large Animal Medicine and Surgery 564, 1991-95. (Course discontinued when curriculum changed).
