ADVS 2130 Dairy Production Practices
- Semester - Fall Credits - 3
- Basic husbandry skills needed to carry out day-to-day operations on a dairy farm. Principles of dairy herd health, disease prevention, and treatment. Prerequisite: ADVS 1020 or 1110 (may be taken concurrently) or permission of instructor.
ADVS 3000 Animal Health and Hygiene
- Semester - Spring Credits - 3
- Introduction to basic principles of disease. Agents, mechanisms, and preventive measures for common diseases of farm animals will be emphasized. Prerequisite: ADVS 2200.
